About NetWorthy

A personal-finance record that reads your money and never moves it.

What NetWorthy is

NetWorthy adds up what you own, subtracts what you owe, and tracks the difference over time. Around that sit budgets, bills, goals, debt payoff planning, and optional investment tracking and financial education. It is a record and a calculator — a clear view of your own money, kept in one place.

You can use it entirely by hand. Connecting an outside account is a convenience, never a requirement, and the calculators and guides run with no account at all.

Who builds it

NetWorthy is built and operated by Garrett Makes It, LLC, a small independent software company in Florida. It is one of several products the company builds, and the ones that share data with each other only do so after you approve the specific exchange and until you revoke it.

Small also means honest about support: there is no queue of agents behind the address below, and that is why the response time on this page is a modest one rather than an impressive one.

Two things it will never do

It will never move your money. NetWorthy cannot transfer funds, pay a bill, or route an order. That is not a setting we leave switched off — the interfaces through which the product reads account data expose no method that could move money, so there is nothing to switch on. It also means NetWorthy never asks for a private key or a seed phrase, and anyone asking you for one while claiming to be us is not us.

It will never tell you what to buy. Everything the product produces is arithmetic on figures you supplied. It is general information, not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold a specific security.

How your data is handled

The short version: your financial data is yours, it is never part of any community surface, you can export it, and you can delete your account and have it removed. The privacy notice is the full version, and the Terms of Service describe the agreement between us.
